will not reveal the storyline nor the ending, this is a shocker . A.W. Nutter's writing is just as great as is
Stephen King. I give " Shimmer," seven Stars ******* for a book well written.

A.W.Nutter has a masterful gift of description and his characters in this book have real presence and clear direction. There was no mystery in which of his characters are the villains and who have the courage and honor. This doesn't change that there are many surprises and twists that are not expected by the reader. One of my favorite parts in the story was when different characters tried to explain "The Shimmer" even though it was so unbelievable?
There are some clear questions asked in this story; how faithful are you in what you believe and how much are you willing to sacrifice for what or whom you trust in? "The Shimmer is very captivating, intriguing, most interesting and it was hard to put down after I started reading it. It is definite a keeper to put into your library and read over and over, and be as refreshing each time.

I'm not usually a fan of fiction thrillers but SHIMMER grabbed me in the very first paragraph, and it just got better and better the more I read. Once you've met the extraordinary characters within, they become hard to walk away from, even to sleep. SHIMMER has something for everyone; it's terrifying, mysterious, unbelievable,warm and tender, yet vividly brutal. Just about the time you think you've figured it out, BAM: the author takes you in a completely different direction.
For one of the most entertaining, fly by the seat of your pants books, pick up SHIMMER. You'll never be quite certain of anything again...

A thrill ride a minute. A truly original story line. I found this book hard to put down and found myself allotting time in my busy schedule so that I could resume reading and find out what would happen next. Just when I thought the ending had been set the author took me on another avenue of thought and left me pondering what will the future hold. I look forward to this books sequel to see what the author might have in store.
If you find this book causing you to think about loyalty, truth, God, injustice, family ties and death you will not be alone. Perhaps the Shimmer for each of us is just a breath away.

This book may be listed as a fictional Sci-fi horror novel. And, for readers who love the supernatural, this is a book for them. However, for those of us who prefer more of a real life experience, this book is definitely also for us. A.W. Nutter steals your attention and interest on the first page and keeps you captivated until the very end. He masterfully spins a tale about loyal lasting friendships, strong family ties, caring neighbors, and characters from both worlds.....all fighting for good to overcome evil. It's a supernatural, superhuman fantasy with real people that one can relate to.
